Whyte Icing Specialty Cakes
is a Family-Operated, Licensed Cake Studio located in Westmont, just outside of Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Whyte is our Cake Designer and full-time Baker.
She has been creating custom cakes professionally for 20 years.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, she began her career by apprenticing as a Pastry Chef
with an upscale catering company. Soon, she was baking and decorating wedding cakes and specialty cakes
in several of Maryland's most popular, well-established bakeries.
She learned the 'tricks of the trade' from other Chefs, Bakers, and Decorators along the way.

Steve Whyte is the Executive Chef for a private community, as well as a Baker for Whyte Icing.
He has over 25 years of experience in professional foodservice, working for restaurants, caterers, and hotels
in Johnstown, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC and everywhere in between.

Steve grew up in Johnstown, so Jennifer was excited to return. They feel at home here.
It was only natural to open a studio bakery and bring their fresh, beautiful cakes to this area!

Unlike many bakeries, Whyte Icing's cakes are NEVER frozen!
Instead of mass-producing inferior products, we focus on a select number of exciting
and creatively designed cakes using only the freshest ingredients.

By operating a smaller-sized Cake Studio, Jennifer & Steve are able
to bake, decorate, and deliver your cake fresh to order --personally.

There are many cake flavors and unique designs to choose from.
