| Whyte Icing Specialty Cakes Is A Family Operated, Licensed Cake Studio Located In Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Jennifer Whyte has been creating custom cakes professionally for 15 years. Jennifer began by apprenticing to be a Pastry Chef with an upscale catering company in Maryland. Eventually, she moved on to baking and decorating specialty cakes in several of Maryland's most popular, well-established bakeries. She has learned the 'tricks of the trade' from other Chefs, Bakers, and Decorators along the way. Jennifer's husband, Chef Steve Whyte, grew up in Johnstown, so they feel at home here. It was only natural to open a bakery and bring their fresh, delicious, beautiful cakes to this area! By operating a smaller-sized Cake Studio, Jennifer and Steve are able to focus on a select number of exciting and creatively designed cakes each season. Unlike some bakeries, Whyte Icing's cakes are never frozen! Instead of mass-producing inferior cakes, Jennifer bakes and decorates every cake fresh to order -personally. There are many cake flavors and unique designs to choose from. Jennifer can help turn your idea into a spectacular cake that will truly reflect your own personality and taste. |
