| Whyte Icing Specialty Cakes is a Family-Operated, Licensed Cake Studio located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Jennifer Whyte has been creating custom cakes professionally for nearly 20 years. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Jennifer began her career by apprenticing to be a Pastry Chef with an upscale catering company. Soon, she was baking and decorating specialty cakes in several of Maryland's most popular, well-established bakeries. She has learned the 'tricks of the trade' from other Chefs, Bakers, and Decorators along the way. Jennifer's husband Steve is an Exectutive Chef with over 22 years of experience in professional foodservice. Steve grew up in Johnstown, so we feel at home here. It was only natural to open a studio bakery and bring our fresh, beautiful cakes to this area! Unlike some bakeries, Whyte Icing's cakes are never frozen! Instead of mass-producing an inferior product, we focus on a select number of exciting and creatively designed cakes each season. By operating a smaller-sized Cake Studio, Jennifer & Steve are able to bake, decorate, and deliver every cake fresh to order -personally. There are many cake flavors and unique designs to choose from. Whyte Icing can help turn your idea into a spectacular cake that will truly reflect your own personality and taste. |
